What is a shade variation?

Category: Choosing your tiles

Many tiles are inspired by natural materials like stone, marble and limestone and just like nature, sometimes the beauty of décor is in the differences rather than uniformity.

With this in mind, some tiles come with a shade variance, so when laid together, they create a rich patina and add interest to your space.

Each tile has a degree of colour or pattern variation on each tile. As with natural stone the effect when laid, brings the outside into your home.

All tiles have some sort of shade variance to a degree. This is why we always recommend you pull tiles from multiple packs when laying, instead of using up one box and then moving onto the next.

If you have any questions about shade variances in a specific range, one of the Bristol Tile team would be happy to help.
